Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Olivia, founder and head designer behind Dandy Doodle Co.
My journey in this business began way back during my college years at the University of Cincinnati through volunteer work with 4 Paws for Ability Inc., an organization dedicated to training service dogs for children and veterans with disabilities. While socializing pups in the program I encountered a recurring issue, standard bandanas rarely fit well and tend to bunch and shift rather than lay flat.
Drawing on my background in costume design, I set out to solve the problem at its source, a straight cut bandana simply isn’t built for a curved neck! Through extensive prototyping, I developed a pattern designed specifically for that curved neck shape, delivering a fit that is comfortable, flat, and polished every time.
I’m thrilled to provide a product that I am proud of with a refreshed look. My mission is so much bigger than ever too. A portion of our sales is now donated to 4 Paws for Ability, in continued support of the organization where it all began.
I couldn’t be happier you are here and I look forward to helping your dog or furry friend look its best, tailored for tails.
